The Precious Moments Chapel sculpture was created to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Sam Butcher's Precious Moments Chapel in Carthage, MO. Sam is creator of the ever-popular Precious Moments range of collectible figurines.

The Chapel has hosted nearly one million visitors each year since opening in 1989. The southwest Missouri landmark features 30 stained glass windows and over 5000 square feet of wall and ceiling paintings. All 53 murals were hand painted by Sam.

Although the Precious Moments Chapel represents his life's work, Sam has created a haven for all who seek quiet, beauty and inspiration.
