From
1989 to 2000, Ray was designer and sculptor for
Lilliput Lane's American Landmarks Collection
of miniature architectural sculptures under license
with the Enesco Corporation. He continues working
with Lilliput Lane to produce product for Disney®.
Today,
Ray is retired from the classroom and in July
2007, he retired from full-time Director of Development
and Institutional Advancement for Our Lady of
Providence Junior-Senior High School in Clarksville,
Indiana. Providence is his alma-mater, but he
also taught Art and Theatre at the school for
thirty-four years.
Ray
co-designing and oversaw the building of the school's
Sam & Paula Robinson Performing Arts Center.
The school recognized his 39 years of service
to the school and it's visual and performing arts
program by naming the new experimental 'black
box' classroom theatre in his honor - the Ray
Day Little Theatre. His
continues part-time as the school's Webmaster and Archivist.
