Day has long supported the preservation of architecture
from the past as a gift to future generations.
An American Journey is a series of miniature sculptures
endorsed by the National Trust For Historic Preservation.
Featuring specific examples from across the country,
the focus is on both the regional uniqueness and
universally American character of the architecture.
The collection was launched in late 1997 with
six pieces.
